Verisign, the registry for .COM domains will be increasing prices for the domain this September for the second year in a row. This price increase applies to new .COM domain registrations, renewals, and transfers for all registrars. This year marks the second price increase under the current contract, so it’s likely you can expect prices to rise again in 2023 and 2024, and from 2026 to 2029.

This means that now is the best time to lock-in your price for your .COM domain if you haven’t already. If you own a .COM domain, renewing now will secure your site for years to come without the added cost.
