Here’s how it works:

Every time you successfully refer a friend to Hover, you will receive five entries to win. What’s more, you’ll get an additional entry just for sharing this blog post on Facebook or Twitter! We’ll randomly select one winner out of all the entries, so everyone has a chance to win.

How to Refer a Friend:

All you have to do is use your unique referral code to refer your friends to Hover.

  1. Locate your referral code by signing in to your Hover account.
  2. Click the Your Account tab and select the box “Earn Hover Credit” in the upper right corner. If you’ve already made a referral in the past, simply click the Referral tab.
  3. Here, you’ll find your referral code to share with your friends. You can copy and paste the link into an email or share it with your networks on Facebook and Twitter.
  4. For every friend who makes a purchase with Hover, you get five entries into the Vespa giveaway! Plus, you’ll both automatically be credited with $2 in your accounts.

The Fine Print

  1. You will receive five entries for every person who makes a purchase using your referral code between September 5 and September 30 at 12:01pm ET.
  2. You will receive one additional entry for sharing this post on Facebook or Twitter between September 5 and September 30 at 12:01pm ET.
  3. If you choose to share this post on Facebook or Twitter, it must be shared publicly to receive your additional entry. If we can’t see it, we won’t be able to count it!
  4. Limit of one entry per person for sharing this blog post on Facebook or Twitter.
  5. There is no limit on entries for successful referrals!
  6. The person you referred must use your unique referral code when making his/her purchase. We cannot track your referrals unless you use your referral code.
  7. Entries will not be provided for referrals that have been refunded.
  8. One winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by Sepember 30, 2013 at 12:01pm ET.
  9. Winner will be announced on September 30, 2013 and notified via email.
  10. Prize awarded will be a 2013 Vespa LX 50 4V!
  11. Vespa will be provided by the authorized Vespa dealer nearest to the winner’s location. Pick up arrangements and accommodations to be made by the winner.
  12. Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  13. While this contest is open internationally, if the winner resides outside North America, an Amazon gift card in the equivalent amount will be rewarded ($3,399 CDN).
  14. We reserve the right to change any aspect of the giveaway at any time.

How can I tell if I’ve successfully referred a friend to Hover?

When you refer a friend and they make a purchase using your unique referral code, it will be recorded in your Hover account. Simply sign in to Hover.com and go to Your Account. Once you have made your first successful referral, a new tab will appear that says “Referrals.” Here, you will see a record of all the friends who have made purchases using your referral code.

How many entries will I get?

For every friend who makes a purchase using your referral code, you receive five entries into the Vespa giveaway. You can receive one additional entry for sharing this blog post on Facebook or Twitter. Remember, make sure that your Facebook or Twitter post is public, so that we can see it and count it!

Can I enter without a Hover account?

Yes! You can enter the contest by sharing this blog post on Facebook or Twitter. We’ll be linking your Facebook/Twitter entry to the respective account. This means anyone can enter, not just those who have Hover accounts. If your Facebook/Twitter entry has won, we’ll contact you via the appropriate channel.

What happens if I refer a friend without using my unique referral code?

Unfortunately, we cannot attribute any referrals that don’t use your referral code, so they cannot be honored. Please make sure you use your referral code when telling your friends about Hover.

How will the winner be chosen?

The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.

Can I still enter to win if I don’t live in North America?

Yes! While this contest is open internationally, if the winner resides outside the USA or Canada, an Amazon gift card in the equivalent amount will be awarded ($3,399 CDN).
